What Personal Data We Collect and Why We Collect It

Cloudvine routinely collects the type of data that websites routinely collect to interact with its visitors via online forms and comment forms, as well as via technical processes such as cookies, analytics, and interactions with software provided by third party websites.

However, we also collect client-specific information for site visitors who seek to engage our services.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Visitor information may be passed through or processed via the providers mentioned in this section in order to provide a high-quality website experience to site visitors.

Third Party Information Relevant to this Privacy Policy

Software: Stripe

We use Stripe to process payments online. Stripe may store, collect, or share personal data in accordance with their privacy practices in order to allow you to pay for products or services. (

While we currently only use Stripe to process payments online, we may use other point of sale products or payment processors in our office, or online in the future.

We will only share the information necessary to process payment with those third parties.

Software: Mailchimp

We may provide visitor email addresses to MailChimp for email marketing purposes. ( 

MailChimp sends email to visitors who have provided an email address to Cloudvine, and provides non-identifying aggregate information in the form of statistics to help us improve our email marketing efforts.

We use Rank Math SEO to monitor and adjust various search engine optimization settings on our site.

Plugin: Gravity Forms

Cloudvine uses Gravity Forms to collect data from users who choose to fill out our online forms.

This data may be retained indefinitely or until the user issues a request, in writing, that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Plugin: Defender

This site creates and stores an activity log that captures the IP address, username, email address and tracks user activity (like when a user makes a comment). Information will be stored locally for 30 days and remotely for 1 year. Information on remote logs cannot be cleared for security purposes.

Plugin: Smush

Smush sends images to the WPMU DEV servers to optimize them for web use. This includes the transfer of EXIF data. The EXIF data will either be stripped or returned as it is. It is not stored on the WPMU DEV servers.

Smush uses the Stackpath Content Delivery Network (CDN). Stackpath may store web log information of site visitors, including IPs, UA, referrer, Location and ISP info of site visitors for 7 days. 

Files and images served by the CDN may be stored and served from countries other than your own. Stackpath’s privacy policy can be found here.

Smush uses a third-party email service (Drip) to send informational emails to the site administrator. The administrator’s email address is sent to Drip and a cookie is set by the service. Only administrator information is collected by Drip.
